About Us
George Keen
George Keen began his career managing five retail hardware stores before spending a decade in software development in the lift truck industry, where he was an early pioneer in applying computer systems to dealership accounting and financial management. He went on to spend ten years inside a John Deere agricultural dealership and, concurrently, a Caterpillar/Jungheinrich forklift dealership serving nine branches across Virginia — experience that gave him a ground-level understanding of how dealerships actually operate. Over more than four decades, including 15 years with Currie Management Consultants, he has provided consulting services to equipment dealers across North America, Europe, and Latin America in the construction, materials handling, agricultural, golf car, power generation, and transport refrigeration industries. He has facilitated dealer and distributor best practice groups for over 25 years, and is the author of Three books in the “Management in an Equipment Dealership” series. One for the Sales Department, one for Service and one for Rental. He founded Wise Wolf Consulting, LLC to help dealers turn underperforming departments into profit centers, using Department Critical Variables (Benchmarks) and the Performance Scoreboard Methodology to ground decisions in objective data rather than gut feel.
